My Short Term Goals/Wish List/ To-dos 1. to get through Wed's interview (which is so important to me!!) 2. to get into NIE (be a teacher!!) 3. to have a memorable 21st birthday 4. to learn Yoga 5. to get a make-over 6. to finish up Harry Potter Book 4 and proceed on to Book 5 and so on.. 7. to get lots of stuffs from online shopping (i'm addicted to cheap & nice clothes) 8. to keep myself slim 9. to have a nice haircut (i always want a to walk ard with a nice hair) 10. to like & support Manchester United (cos Hong say i must support what he support.. haha! oh ya.. to like David Beckham too!) Wednesday's coming soon. I'm so excited, nervous.. whatever u can describe.. Cos this intervire's just so important to me. It's the first step to my career. Once i can get through, i'll have 1 thing less to worry. I'll just need to take the EPT, get thru it sucessfully and sign the contract. That's my goal. To be a teacher. NOW. People may ask me, i tot u never wanna be a teacher? I think life's sometimes funny and weird. Things that i say that i wouldn't do it.. Eventually, you'll find out that u're getting closer and closer to it. The more rejected u are with certain things, the more it'll come after you. Haha.. Sound silly.. But i do believe in that!! I used to swear that i will not become a teacher. Serious!! Haha. Those who know me for very long time would know. Like during pri or sec school times, teacher tend to ask.."What do u wanna be when u grow up?". I would say anything that i can think of. But definately not being a teacher. Haha. I duno why. But that has always been in my mind since young. Even till poly, I haven thought that i would want to take up teaching as a career. Only till recently, I went to the Student Care Centre. I start to get along with kids range from P1 to P6. I interact with them. I educate them with what i know. I play with them. etc etc.. I even start to take up relief teaching. I wanna get a taste of how classroom teaching is like. To my surprise, I'm getting used to it. And! I even like it. Of cos i know what i'm experiencing now it's just a minor percentage of real classroom teaching. But i know i'm ready for the challenge. And i'm ready to work hard. I suppose it's a good start. I would pray hard and hope things ahead would be smooth. and of cos blessed. I would definately not take things for granted since i know this is what i wanna do for the rest of my life. Kids from student care centre are calling me Miss Xu instead of Candy Jie Jie. So funny lor.. But they're so cute. Thou most of the times, they make me go mad and fume like a duno what lar~ Haha. Tat's life~ It's simpy like a book. Chapter by chapter, we go through. You never know what lying ahead of this chapter until u continue to experience it. Some people's chapters are thick while some are thin. Some are hard to read and understand. Some are just like fairytales which end "happily ever after". But eventually, everybody's last chapter is the same. The only difference between our life book and normal book is, we can't turn to the middle chapter to look at it. That's the interesting part. Well, no matter what it is.. Face each and every chapter which a positive mind. Like what Hong always say.. "Don't think too much" (as in do not keep thinking abt unnecessary stuffs).
