Went for interview today. Was damn nervous. But i tried my best to keep cool. Went in and there was 4 interviewers. 3 women & 1 man. The man was here to interview me for chinese language specialisation. Supposed to speak in mandarin but things doesn't seemed to be good. I spoke to him in mandarin and i was damn lousy. Haven my speaking proper chinese for quite sometime already. Was so not fluent and i accidentally added in some english. Totally screwed up. I straight away told the interviewers that i'm actually here to appeal to teach english medium subjects. Told them my point of view and my stand. Sigh~ I let them know that in order to teach well, first of all i have to be comfortable and also confident in a language that i speak. I'm aware that i scored well for my O Levels chinese but that doesn't mean that i'm good in chinese. I didn well cos i was prepared at that time. And for language, once u seldom use it, eventually the standard will drop. But i still let them know that if i'm given a chance to teach chinese language, i will still go ahead and not give up on this chance. I'll just have to work doubly hard to increase in own standard. But an interviewer point out to me one point that against me. Tat is.. my O level English, i scored C6 for it and that affects my Humanities as well. Other than that, the female interviewers also asked my some qns regarding some local teaching issues. Arh.. I was stucked but i tried my best to say something. In the end, i guess i went out of point. ~_~ (sob) Hais.. sianz. I seriously think i screwed up both sides. Firstly, i'm interested in English but my O level results is against me. And now for my chinese, thou i scored well but my standard dropped tremendously over the years. See.. not that i don't want to look onto the brighter side of th situation. Both ways are against me. I'm so scared.. What if i don't get in.. (shake head..) better cross fingers.. *pray hard* Yey!! Meeting up with the gang tml. Hope most of them would be there. Fang.. update me with the timing soon k.. =) I'll be watching Spiderman 3 in the afternoon with Hong. Woosh.. Tix for Spidey show's nearly fully booked for most slots in most cinemas. Super kua1 zhang1 leh.. But thank God, Cineleisure's 2.50pm show still got some good seats left. Faster went to book before it's snatched away by people. Hmm..
