HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY

School celebrated Children's Day this morning.
The day was filled with fun!! fun!! fun!!
Everyone's in the mood & the kids are so "high!"
Haha.. They nearly lose control lor..
But that's fine for just a day la. =)
Anyway, it's THEIR day today mah..

Had sports carnival early this morning.
Was doing my duty when suddenly i was being called up by my colleague saying one of my kids had fallen down. My first reaction was "WHAT!!?" and the next thing i knew was.. i was sprinting like hell to attend to my kid at the admin centre. Teachers were like looking at me with a "wah-what-happened?" kinda look. My poor kid.. He was sitting at the sofa crying. Wah.. My heart nearly break lor. He had scratched his both knees, an elbow & he had a small abrasion near his left eyebrow. Lucky thing was, all were superficial injuries and NOT deep cuts. The admin staffs had helped him put medication on the wounds already.
I had to coax him and kept telling him things will be fine. Had to keep talking to him to distract his attention while waiting for his mom to reach. He cried until his eyes swollen. After abt 30min, his mom finally rushed here from her workplace. I felt so sorry abt the whole thing and i'm glad the mom didn't react strongly to the accident. It was so heart-warming when the mom & the son hugged each other. *Sigh*
His mom even thanked me for attending to him immediately after the accident.

Oh well, just hope he'll have a good rest at home.

So, had the music performance after the carnival. And... out of 7 classes.. MY CLASS WON!!! Wooohoo! So happy for them lor.. =)

Den we had concert. Was just a short one thou. But teachers doing the skit was damn funny la. One of my colleague who was acting as fairy godmother wore garbage bag lor.. Haha..
I'm glad that all the kids enjoyed it cos they were smiling from ear to ear.

Went back to class to give out all the school souveniers, MY souveniers, free coco-crunch, Sharity Elephant newsletter & of cos the gift of appreaciation as promised. =)

One of them came to ask me..
"Ms Xu.. Ms Xu.. got what homework arh?"

I walked slowly to the centre of the classroom with a stern look and said..
"Okay children, your home work for the long weekend will be... NO HOMEWORK!!"

Wah.. the whole class CHEER lor~!

We even had photo-taking session. They are all soooo cute~!
I keep laughing to myself when looking at their photos.


One of my colleague went ard the staff room giving out mini donut...

It's so nice and it's home baked.. =)

And it saved my lunch.
