Back from weeks of BUSY-NESS

School

has been really busy throughout the weeks i haven't been blogging. weeks pass by so quickly without knowing. rushing through datelines for so much things: english noticeboard, classroom deco(haven't finish yet), markings of books etc etc..

i've been bringing work home almost everyday. no time to breathe.. even weekends, like today. i've still got work to do. i swear i must finish everything by today before darling knock off from work. darling says only this way then i can enjoy the thing call WEEKEND. Yes.. i almost forgot what are weekends.. :(

NIE

good news~
i've got my appointment letter to serve as contract teacher in school starting term 2 (march 17).

just in case you're unsure what is it.. nie's only admission is july/august hence untrain teachers will be posted to schools to serve as contract teachers before the nie admission. but that can last from minimum 6 months up to 2 years.. depending on your progress in school. if you're good and the principal thinks that you're cut for this line, then most probably you'll be getting into NIE on the nearest next intake. if not.. extend lor.

for my case, i was given a 1yr to 1.5 yrs of contract appointment. hopefully my 1st appeal to get back into my current school as contract teacher is successful. but i'll only receive my posting around start of march. :(

if i successfully get back to my current school as a contract teacher, then i guess the possibility of getting my 2nd appeal approved would be higher. i sent in a request and even called up moe to check if i can get a shorter contract term. but they replied me saying that the only way to get into the next nie admission is only through my posted school. if my progress is good then i'll be recommended to get into nie sooner.

that's why i hope i can get back to my current school so hopefully they can help me. i've been here for so long and i hopefully what i did in school as a relief teacher can get me a good recommendation.

if not, i've to abandon my current form class.. and start in a new school all over again.. :(

MOE

took a day off on thursday from school and went over to moe to sign my appointment letter. :) very excited. i guess this is the day i've been looking forward too. of course, the most looking forward day would be the day i go into nie. :)

had a briefing early in the morning then signed the paper there. haha. of course without any second thoughts!

HAIR

went to clementi to rebond my hair at a very good rate. :) thnx to yiling for recommending me there.

but i always hate the first few days of my hair. always so flat.. i hate flat head.

anyway, i didn't cut my hair there. will be going back to gina's before cny for a hair cut. i always know there's no problem letting her cut. of cos, the price is different too.. ha!

SHOPPING

finally found sometime to do some shopping for cny. previously went to far east plaza to buy a very colourful dress chose by darling. thought was a bit too colourful la. but i thought why not give it a try. :)

bought a bf's shirt from espirit.. very expensive but i love it so much. :)

then yesterday after work, went down to far east plaza again but this time alone. do some final shopping. bought 2 dresses, 1 belt and 1 shorts. total damage for yesterday: $105

total damage for cny: $ 207.

luckily this year i don't need to buy any footwear. bought 2 pairs from taiwan and alot of random ones from mondo. i guess i just need to look into my shoe cabinet(which is now full of my heels) then mix & match with my new clothings. :)

i'm very poor right now.. so don't need to ask me out for shopping. unless you're treating me. haha.. ;)

coming up next would be my medical check-up next friday and my english entrance profiency test on 18 feb which i hope i'll pass. xP
