Random Updates

previously, my class and i had a new "pet" called caterpiii..
looking at it's name, i think u guys can guess it's actually a caterpillar.
had to have a caterpillar in class cos we need to give the kids a little hands on and exposure to real and living insects so as to allow them to relate better than just seeing it from books only.

overall, it was good!
my kids are all very responsible. they tok turns to change the leaves everyday and clear away caterpii's poop. and i must say caterpillars eat and poo ALOT! haha.
we had fun~

for 1 week plus they took good care of caterpii. i didn't take it's photo down cos i tot it's kinda disgusting.. haha..

when we came back over the weekends, caterpii was gone.
it became a pupa...
it took almost 3 weeks to come out..
other class's took only 2 weeks. ours was damn slow..
the kids all tot it was dead.. cos the pupa turned brown and dry..
some kids went to take a look every period.. hoping it'll be back alive..
i felt abit heartache to see them disappointed and sad over the"dead" pupa.

one day.... tadah~
caterpii had tranformed into a....


BEAUTIFUL LIME BUTTERFLY!!!
seriously i haven't seen a butterfly at such a close distance.
it was so beautiful!!

the kids were all so excited and they were practically cheering..
"caterpii haven't die neh!!"


we can even see the dried up pupa shell..

soon, we have to free our beautiful caterpii.
i told the kids to gather by the classroom door and let them have the privilege to see their caterpii fly away.
i opened up the container's cover and caterpii flew away!!
the whole class clapped and said byebye to the butterfly.

i was quite fascinated by the whole process..

nowadays, my kids will say it's caterpii when they see a similar butterfly flying ard in school. they say caterpii is back to visit them. haha.

kids are always kids.. so cute and innocent. =)

anyway, yesterday met up with fang.
had a pretty good catch up time with her. always had alot to talk abt.

all thanks to her, we're able to catch a dance showcase by LaSalle students. It's contemporary modern dance. those very abstract kinda dance which not much people actually can understand. even the 2 of us cannot understand. haha. but overall it's still nice. =)



i'll definately want to groom my daughter into a dancer.
but if i have a son, i'll let him take up music. he'll be the future lee hom.

and i'm serious!
i'm gonna tell darling about it tonight.

opps! side-tracked..

after tat went to bugis area to chill out. talked and waited for eric to come over and we continued with all the craps. ha..

only went off ard 12am.

hope to get to meet her more often. especially fri nites where we can spend longer time chilling out. =)

finished watching ISWAK 2. gish.. why nice show finish so fast one.. and the ending is so not here and there!!! Urgh~ i wan it continue.. ZS is so sweet to XQ. i just love this two characters.. there're just so in love with each other. and both need each other badly. i cried so much while watching it.

the show makes me think so much about relationships.
nowadays people break up without much hesitation.. makes me wonder so much about "true love"

ok, not gonna comment so much on people's relationship. everyone have their own way of dealing with their relationship, so, there's no right or wrong.

may it be smooth or rocky. it's always your heart and commitment that matters most. and it decides how ur relationship ends up.
